Built in the 17th century, this chapel is dedicated to Our Lady of Victories. The victory being that of the Maltese and Knights over the Ottoman Turks in 1565. Malta enjoyed other subsequent victories over foreign attacks such as World War II, rendering this chapel’s dedication relevant to the country’s history.
