This chapel is dedicated to Saint Catherine of Alexandria, also known as Saint Gregory’s chapel. It was constructed in 1606 and is located on the periphery of Żejtun.

A ship graffito etched in straight lines. A cabin structure is seen on the topside of the deck. A horned anthropomorphic face has been etched under the ship graffito.

A 17th century galleon is being represented, identified by the high freeboard of the stern and dimensions of the hull. Square rigging is visible.

The date ‘1859’ is visible superimposing the ship graffito. Although the ship does not necessarily correlate with the date, it seems to have a modern typology as indicated by the hull and raked masts.

A possible depiction of a Brig, dating to the 19th century. An anchor is located under the ship’s stern.
