The Church of Our Lady of Victory is situated in Piazza Jean de la Vallette. Jean de la Vallette funded the construction of this church in 1566 as a way of showing gratitude to Our Lady following the Victory in the 1565 Great Siege of Malta. This building was known as the Saint Anthony the Abbott Church and is the first building constructed in the City.
